I am looking for this option and I do not know how to solve it, can it be modified in the theme or do you recommend a plugin? Or anyone who can program it if it has to be, make me a proposal. 🙂
I need to convert the Newspaper in a living book:
Table of Contents Index = Book, Chapters, Posts
Book = Each year, so 2018 is Book 1 (title like Chronicles of ….)
Chapter = Each Month, so Chapter one is the Month January (add a title …. Chapter One The …. Adventure)
Sub chapters / storyline = Each day + time to define the chronology of the happenings (Title: Header of that story)
Navigation : readers can go in the index / table of contents to navigate to a story by clicking on it
Navigation on posts: go to the next post or last post, or enter post number
Who can help me with a solution?

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for this case and also, we cannot recommend any kind of plugin because we do not make any tests.

How about Breadcrumbs?
Let’s say I add my stories to an extra category, which belongs under a new Bookchapter category.
Then I create an extra menu navigation on the sidebar and add the main with subcategories there.
Won’t that work? Is that not a possible solution?
What do you think?

Sorry but our theme was not built in this manner. It will not work by default as you expect. You will probably need a plugin to help with the needed implementation for this idea. You will need custom post types and a custom taxonomy for the custom implementation you require. Sorry but we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
