This TD Composer is just a wreck! I’ve had to hire someone every single time I try and switch an element from VC to TD – NOTHING I need is in the new composer and it’s getting frustrating.
I have a simple green box with white text, rounded corners and shadows. It should take 5 seconds to recreate it – but it just isn’t there in TD Composer.
What exact code will replace this VC Code? I can’t even figure out how to make the text white in your “text with title” box.
[vc_cta h2="Header" style="3d" color="green"]text[/vc_cta]
did anyone even bother testing this new TD composer before pretending it was ready for prime time? It isn’t even close!
Hello,
The new page builder was indeed tested and there are no issues with it. The issue is you are trying to re-create an element built with another page builder. It is not a VC copy. It is a new page builder with it’s own options and features. If you want to create a simple green box with white text you can create it like so:
Use a column content element and set it up as you describe: https://www.screencast.com/t/DgYhypVB8 you can assigna a custom class to the element and round it with css
The result would be like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/12pQqmM5H8B
Please do not blame the page builder if you do not know how to use it. Please check the different settings provided as there are many cool things you can do with the tagdiv composer.
Thanks.
Don’t blame the page builder? You JUST said the only way to do in YOUR Page Builder what was easily done in VC one was to use CSS? And you STILL didn’t explain how to do it.
How is that not knowing how to use your page builder? That’s wanting an actual page builder INSTEAD of having to do everything CSS. That’s the point of a page builder.
And I don’t see a choice for “column content”
I asked for directions. You did not provide any. But I’m glad you’re able to do it on your computer. Maybe you could fix the page builder rather than say it works when it doesn’t and you can’t even explain how to work it.
Hi,
The column content is a multi-purpose element, added when the multi-purpose plugin is active along with the tagDiv composer. Check if the plugin is active in order to be able to use the many available multi-purpose items.
The solution Bogdan provided is based on the column content element

This is many options for styling, use them to style it as needed. The shortcode you mention would be a call to action element, tagDiv composer also has a similar item

So you could use that element, it all depends on your requirements. These multi-purpose elements have many design options and possibilities, they may not be exactly similar to Visual composer items, they are not meant to.
Thanks
