I logged on today to make a post and instead of the custom fields that appear below (Post Templates etc) only the default WordPress option boxes remain. Any ideas as to why this would occur? I did not recently change any settings.

Do you are referring to the Custom Fields? please check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1TF8BJp7F Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another sub-domain for testing and check the results. These settings should be there all the time if the theme was installed according to our documentation. also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation.
