I am able to delete all of my categories except one. Any idea why? Is there a setting somewhere not allowing this?

If it has a post assigned to it you cannot delete it. Usually if you look at list of categories it would show number of posts assigned to it as well.

Thats the odd thing about this one. It doesn’t have any.

Did you rename your default category from “Uncategorized”?

Ohhh..that’s what it was. I set the default category to something else and it’s now gone. Thanks.

I guessed that could have been the problem coz there is no selection box on the left of the category name. I also renamed my default category though I never use it on my blog.
