Gallery on the main page

Hello 🙂

Is it possible to add a block with a gallery on the main page in the “Default Demo” template? If so, how to do it?

I’m using the “Photo gallery” extension.

I am able to add such block to subpages by moving the widget to the right place, but I would like to add a wide horizontal block at the bottom of the main page.

Any ideas how to do it?

Hello arpass,

If you want to use a Gallery on page, you should use the Visual Composer plugin and check the Image Gallery element like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AS7buYJOouE

Thanks for your understanding!

Catalin, thank you very much for your help. Your tips helped me discover new tools and possibilities 🙂

However, I have one more problem.

In the first post I wrote that I would like to have a photo gallery on the main page, I wanted to see the recently added media / photos for various entries in a specific place.

For example, when I add a new entry containing photos that have been added to the media library in the WordPress panel.

I would like it to be visible automatically in the gallery on the main page of the website, i.e. the recently added media.

At this moment I can add a gallery with photos in the selected place, however, I would have to add new photos manually each time to be visible on the home page.

Hello arpass,

Unfortunately, please keep in mind that on the page, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add a photo gallery, but only for posts, sorry! You should use the Visual Composer elements if you want to achieve something like this, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!
