I think I’ll remove the mega menu form my current setup, however before I’ll do that I want to ask you if I can make it better:
1. Are you aware of a issue with it that only shows the article previews under the “All” tab, but then when I move the mouse below at a category, no previews are shown?
2. Can I somehow get rid of the “All” tab, and show more tabs / subcategories (12 to be exact) in the mega menu ?

1. I’m not sure I understand well what your issue is, from what you described the mega menu works at it should except the part when you say that when hovering over the subcategories posts don’t load. If this is so please make sure that you have posts in that subcategories and also that you don’t have any errors in the console and that ajax function works, please send me your site’s link, I need to inspect this so I can provide a more exact answer.
2. The mega menu it’s set not to only display 5 subcategories including “All”, you can add more subcategories like this: http://screencast.com/t/seo8HNzivL
Also make sure to have posts in the subcategories you want to show in the menu.

The content in those subcategories are form pages, and not posts. So please also answer there. Thanks 🙂
