Hi,
I have used Mega menu for 2 links in the header, which works fine in desktop, but on mobile the mega menu links are just texts without the links. Please check: https://themoviean.com
I have inspected the website, it seems the links cannot be clicked on desktop as well. The menu items do not contain an actual link

Please remove and add again those menu items, as categories
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JSMcfx3t
Then make them mega-menus
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RBkKcJxRK
They will have a link to the category page if you add them as categories

Thanks
Hi Simion,
The links are working on desktop
Please check

It seems the menu item “Movies” which I have inspected does not contain any elements in it, no sub-menus

The “Regional” menu item has sub-menus

Please check the menu structure, check if the menu items have sub-menus

Hi Simion,
I followed the instructions to create a mega menu.
It says in the menu options that – If you choose to load a mega menu or a page, please do not add submenus to this item. The mega menu and mega page menu have to be the top most menu item.
So I didn’t use any sub-menus.
Please suggest
Hi,
Maybe I am not understanding the problem properly. This is how I see it. On desktop these menu items do not do anything when clicked
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VlRhCwAz
On mobile the same menu items when clicked don’t do anything. There is no link for those menu items.
Both the Movies and Trailers are mega-menus, they are created properly. The normal behaviour would be that those menu items can be clicked and lead to the parent category. Please click on the Fashion menu item in the live demo

So either in your case there the Movies and Trailers were not added as categories, or something is affecting the mega-menu, maybe plugins. The only errors I see on your website are related to a missing image and one related to the CDN rocket loader (which is not recommended to be used with the theme)

You could check again if the menu items are set as categories. If they are, deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Clear all caching and CDN, check if the menu items can be clicked.
Hi Simion,
Thanks for the reply. The menu items are set as categories. I even deactivated all plugins except theme plugins and checked but the issue is not yet resolved.
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ works absolutely fine and is one of the main reasons that we purchased this theme 🙂
I am not sure where am I going wrong.
If you share an email id, I can send you a login & password to check inside.
You can send us the login at contact@tagdiv.com and we will take a look. This is quite an unusual issue. Include a link to this topic in the email.
