Category pagination shows news from other categories

When set pagination style Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/iec5o1 to “Normal pagination” all is ok, however “Infinite loading” and “Infinite loading + show more” displays only first few posts from correct category and the rest is from random other categories. All posts are mixed up.

We would like to switch back to desired option (which isn’t working right now) “Infinite loading + show more”

From users/editors reports this problem started at about the time when wordpress was upgraded from 4.2 to 4.3. We do not want to downgrade wordpress for security reasons.

Hi,

Category pages should show only posts that are actually included in the respective category. I have tested this on my end with the infinite pagination but there is no problem, the posts that are displayed belong to the category currently viewed.

If the post is included in other categories as well, it will also show on those category pages. For example this post

This post will display on all those category pages

I see you have switched to numbered pagination so I cannot see the issue. If you could provide a link to a category page with infinite loading we will inspect it.

Hi, please look again. I switched it back to “Infinite loading + show more” and now you can see the issue.

Hi,

I have tested the infinite pagination on my end, latest version of theme and latest WordPress, there is no issue with this form of pagination

I made multiple tests but found no issue. So there should be no issue for you as well. Maybe you made modifications to the theme files, or there is a plugin conflict that causes the issue. You could check if that is the case and let us know the results.
