Limit stories by date and not by number

Hello! On one page, I am using a Block 9. In the settings, you can limit the stories it shows by number of stories.

Two questions:
1. Is that a limit to how many stories it shows on a page before paginating, or how many stories in total?
2. Is there a way to limit the stories by date or days, rather than by number? Essentially, I would like for it to either show ALL stories in a category, and paginate at a certain point, OR show only the stories within the past 7 days.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any of these options, sorry! You should implement them yourself through the code and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because this is not a simple task and it involves doing such a custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry!
