Hi,
The new AMP plugin looks good. The only issue is that there are a couple of problems with the AMP validator and the Google check by Google. Also we get problems with the indexing and sitemap tools, because the validator is not green.
Issues Only AMP runtime ‘script’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.
The tag ‘amp-anim’ requires including the ‘amp-anim’ extension JavaScript.
Only AMP runtime ‘script’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.

Hi,
We have made tests with the AMP plugin, there were no such errors present
– https://www.ampproject.org/docs/guides/validate
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2V2ZYPH1K8
Please provide a link to your website and all the details related to your testing method.
Thanks
Hi Simon,
Thanks for the reaction. We use the AMP validator from Google. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/amp-validator/nmoffdblmcmgeicmolmhobpoocbbmknc
In the webmastertools console we see the same errors.

Hi,
The AMP page will try to display the footer logo set in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/55tQ3C4G
I see in this case there is a footer logo you have set in the footer logo but it is a gif
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zArUaGIHpvh
A gif format logo will not be displayed on AMP pages using our plugin, that is why the validation error is displayed. Remove or replace the footer logo with a different image (not gif) and there should be no more issues.
The plugin may support gif logos in the future.
Thanks
Hi, We changed the picture to png. Still two errors in the webmastertools and validator plugin.
The footer logo is also a gif from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dUihtNiuxaVb
We will try to implement AMP support for gif logos in the future if this becomes a popular request. For the moment use standard image logos only (jpg, png etc)
Thanks
After flushing the varnish cache all is solved. Thanks for the reaction.
