Hello,
I am using Newspaper theme. Could you tell how can i remove the sidebar visible in the post admin area as shown in the screenshot? http://prntscr.com/igz7vm
It reduces the width of the post editor.
Hello,
You will have to edit the theme files in order to remove that area. Please comment out or remove this code: http://www.screencast.com/t/76LiLEWa
Thank you!
Hi,
So you want to remove the sidebar allocated space in the post content editor

The solution provided by Bogdan works, remove the code as shown

In my case it took a few force refreshes (Ctrl-Shift-R) to clear the browser cache and display the changes in the post page.
Thanks
Hi
I had exactly the same problem.
OK : I manage to get rif of using a private window after being deleted the code.
QUESTION : what will happen if we use a child theme… ? Shall we do the manipulation after each new update ?
Thanks

@Roman_Kiev Please force refresh the respective page a few times (Ctrl+Shift+R) after removing the code. It should be removed eventually.
I tried it again – https://www.screencast.com/t/4jODqfJq5
After about 5 force refresh – https://www.screencast.com/t/aOmcDEEWvfY
