Sidebar in the post admin area allow limited space for content

Hello,
I am using Newspaper theme. Could you tell how can i remove the sidebar visible in the post admin area as shown in the screenshot? http://prntscr.com/igz7vm

It reduces the width of the post editor.

In my case it took a few force refreshes (Ctrl-Shift-R) to clear the browser cache and display the changes in the post page.

Hi

I had exactly the same problem.

OK : I manage to get rif of using a private window after being deleted the code.

QUESTION : what will happen if we use a child theme… ? Shall we do the manipulation after each new update ?

You could make a backup of the modified file, and after updating the theme replace the file with the modified one. Or check to see if this file can be overridden by a child theme.

@Roman_Kiev Please force refresh the respective page a few times (Ctrl+Shift+R) after removing the code. It should be removed eventually.

Hi,

Why don’t you add an option to remove that area from article editor space in theme settings instead of making us to edit theme files after every update? It is a little frustrating, to be honest.
