I’ve tried to update to the latest Newspaper 8.7.1 and it shows a blank page when I’m in the admin page.
I’ve also try to use the new TD_Composer but it doesn’t seem to help too.

You should also update the theme plugins after updating the theme. Please update the theme and then disable and delete the theme plugins and install them again from the theme plugins section.
The plugins do not update automatically.

There are some issues with the latest theme version. These issues are not general, they only happen in some specific cases. We are trying to identify these circumstances and make changes in the theme. A theme update will soon follow, hopefully at the beginning or as late as the middle of the next week.
If you updated the theme and theme plugins and there are issues, please consider reverting to theme version 8.6.
If you are using 8.6 please use that until we release the new update. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused for you.
In some cases there were 500 errors caused by a setting in cpanel
