Hello,

I am getting the following error :

“Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 new Accelerated Mobile Pages related issue. This means that Accelerated Mobile Pages may be negatively affected in Google Search results. We encourage you to fix this issue.

New issue found:

The tag ‘FORM [method=GET]’ requires including the ‘amp-form’ extension JavaScript.”

This is after I included the newsletter block on my website, after the latest theme update.

Please get back to me on this so that I can make the fix.

Hello,

It seems forms require a specific implementation for amp. Here is a response from the WordPress developers on github: https://github.com/Automattic/amp-wp/issues/802

Unfortunately, I am not sure how to implement this in my particular case.

AMP forms will have to be implemented according to the documentation provided by AMP
– https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-form
Our AMP plugin does not have a form option by default, if this becomes a popular request it will be considered.
