Hi, i couldn’t set the dimensions for the slider.

which image dimensions should i use? i set a featured image for a new entry. It look ok but when i write another entry, first featured image looks terrible at slider. i’m changing image dimensions every new entry. please help. is there a way to automate this process. In theme panel, CROP FEATURED IMAGE is on. I read some topics at this forum and i installed some plugins but nothing changed. i need some advise. thank you for your help.

So you need to add an image at least 745px of width and 483px height so that it can fill the whole big slider’s image container because neither the theme or wordpress don’t enlarge images to fit the container, you would need a plugin for that.
Make sure you use a image large enough to fill the slider’s container then use this guide and regenerate thumbnails, make sure you deactivate any CDN plugins, purge files and empty cache first if you use any of this.

My problem is here;
i’m sending my posts with a featured image which is 745×483 px. It looks great at the slider. You can see the image (last post, iPhone on wood desk)

but when i publish another post with 745×483 px featured image, it looks good again but the slider image of the post before last one has a missing area. i need to fix this. You can see second screenshot here;

as you can see, it looks very bad. I always edit the first one’s featured image manually for a better look 🙁 How can i fix this problem?

As you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/1qNOksLr the 3 right thumbs from the left side of the slider should be at 326 x 159 while yours don’t fill the whole thumb-wrap container: http://screencast.com/t/FDaoi8dGt
The solution for this is to regenerate the thumbnails: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
Please make sure you follow and apply all the steps from the guide on “how to fix strange thumbnails” should fix this.
Also please make sure before doing this that you disable all plugins especially any CDN plugins and purge files also empty cache, after you have done all this regenerate the thumbnails.
Also try to add a bigger featured image size for your posts, at least 1200 in width.

Hi, i tried everything but still same. i must change featured image of the last post when i publish a new post manually 🙁 i’m thinking about removing the slider.
