Any idea why favicon-photo and link are not in the same line? URL: http://www.travelsito.com/test/
Could this be some Newsmag theme issue?

My code:

Travelsito
<span class=”name”>Travelsito.com</span>

In every HTML editor the result looks fine, but not when I put same code on my page.

I see now … eventhough I enter code without <br/>, there is <br/> in the page source code. It must be some theme issue or feature, right? How can I avoid this?

Hello Zoran,

Be careful when you write the code. You should write us inline without any spaces, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IQwCpHWq4Jz because that’s why some <br> tags are there.

Thanks for your understanding!

How can I disable wpautop function in Newsmag theme?
I have tried to use some plugins to disable auto-formatting, but still get </br> in my page source code.

Hello Zoran,

The Newsmag theme also uses the default WordPress system which you could try to adjust for this. You could try this: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wpautop Provide more details about what exactly you want to achieve. You can provide some useful screens.

Thanks.

Hello Catalin,

I want to have 2 elements from the link above (small favicon size photo and the link Travelsito.com) positioned in same line.

As seen in the image https://ibb.co/ckwSxn, the link is now shown in new line below favicon size photo, eventhough I have not added any <p> or <br/> tags in the code. I want to disable auto-formatting.

Hello,

Sorry but the theme has no such an option for this. Try to find out some online clues because this is not theme related. It’s WordPress related.

Thanks.
