Sorry but we have not tested the guide as it is a user submitted solution. It is not an official implementation. There is no thee setting that can provide a google searh widget so it has to be made custom. The solution presented by our user could needs a bit of adjustment in the current version of the theme but we do not have a customization department so we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
