Just updated our theme and everything went kapootz.
I am needing to:
a) Remove the black square box that has the comment count (we use a comment disabler app so we don’t have comments so a box of zero is popping up on the front page and all over). Is there an easy way, I don’t know programming. I read somewhere it says add this code. How do you add a code?
b) The front page has articles from like 4 years ago and the recent ones are no where to be found. I also found documentation on this but do I create a new page? Or edit the current one? The current page has a different template, not the one that says latest articles. I’m afraid ill crash the site by changing it.
c) We had them install the EventOn calendar, so now how does one implement it on the live site?

a)The comment box is just a simple theme functionality which can be enabled or disabled from Theme panel. It should work.
b)Please read our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ because there you will find the needed steps for creating your page/homepage.
c)Sorry but the theme does not have any support for Event On Calendar, sorry! It’s an untested plugin and we cannot provide support for this.

No, wrong. I am asking about the comment COUNT box that is all over the place. We have a plug in that disables comments and that works but there are a bunch of black boxes with a zero in them because we dont have comments.

I have looked all over on the Theme Panel but there is no place to disable black square box that has the comment count. I have checked in the module boxes and anywhere we can think, but oddly this doesn’t seem to be an option.
Is it something that needs to be done with CSS code?

We already went through all that and it doesn’t show how to make the articles show the most recent. Isn’t this something that is just standard. I mean you post articles why would something from 2010 come up before the 10,000 other articles written between then and now?
I have the ‘Show Comment Count’ turned off on the Meta Block in the Theme Panel but it continues showing up on individual Authors Pages

It lists the posts they’ve created and next to that comment count. I am just trying to find out how to get rid of the comment count box.

The only settings to hide the Comment Count Box can be found in Theme panel, for blocks/posts. I have inspected your website but I did not saw any comment box to your author box.

Read and watched it and still have not found out how to make the home page show the most recent articles, can you tell me specifically where. The link you sent me to has so much information, where exactly can we change this if possible.
latest articles are still not showing up on home page.
Also to be clear, we do not need help setting it up. We have had this up since 2014, we merely upgraded our theme and everything got messed up. Articles from 2010 are showing on the front page instead of 2018.
