The big post should be the most recent, or at least, the most popular, is there any way to filter or do something to switch this priority?

Hello,
Sorry but the big post has the same filtering as the other posts in that grid. A big grid is considered a whole element. You cannot target parts of a block in our theme individually. The filtering is done for the whole block at once, not for particular sections in particular.
