"More articles box" not saving

Hi,
I use the Newsmag theme and have been hacing some trouble with the “More articles box”.

I tried disabling it altogether but each time I disable it, it returns back to enabled.
I’ve cleared caches, disabled and enabled plugins but all to no effect.

I’d seriously appreciate a lasting solution to this problem.
