Hi All,
I’ve done all the steps recommended for Pinterest Rich Pins (switched to business account, enabled Open Graph data using Yoast, confirmed my site on Pinterest) but when I go to validate a URL, I get a message from Pinterest saying “We were unable to retrieve any data from your URL.”
From reading other threads I know the theme was not set up to be compatible with Rich Pins, but I’m wondering if any other users have had this problem and if there is a solution.
Thanks,
Dave
Hi,
There should be no problem setting up rich pins. I tested a post on our theme live demo

I believe that is how it should be, couldn’t say exactly. Check more online guides

Thanks for your reply Simion. Unfortunately none of the links you provided address my issue. I have completed all of the steps laid out in the literature, but when I go to validate my URL, I get a message telling me they “were unable to retrieve any data from your URL.”
None of the guides I’ve read explain what to do in this situation, and since I’ve already completed the required steps, I don’t understand what the problem is, or what can be done to fix it.
I found a similar topic here, could be useful to you

Hi Simion. I am also having a similar problem with Pinterest, but in my case, when I share a post, the image and description show up. But after posting, when I go to Pinterest to check out the post, the image is missing and only the tagline shows. What could be the problem?
@Irreverent Gent I couldn’t find anything more online, not so many similar problems are to be found. Everybody mentioned that by configuring it properly there is no problem

Maybe you can find more online or double check all your settings, there might be something you missed. If you find a solution please post it here as well.
@epickenyan I have tested one of your posts and indeed it seems the image is picked up but not displayed in the board. Testing with the Facebook debugger there are no problems. Also I can’t find many similar cases online. Maybe some other users might now what would be the issue and mention a solution.
Thanks for looking Simion, I’ll let you know if I find a solution.
