I have a WordPress site and we added some javascript from Google into the header through the editor and saved and checked it was working and it was working.
Then when we went back to the site the editor had removed all of the code from the header section and when we click on header instead of jumping down the page of code to the header section it goes to a header page (php) that has no code in it and is a separate page for code.
Weird.
So I restored my site from an earlier backup, it worked for about a minute and then it has broken again and the header is simply not working.

this is strange indeed. Please do not use the wp editor as it is buggy sometimes. Use your cpanel and edit your files through the file editor there. It could also be a strong cache you have ion place either from a plugin, host or cdn server.
