Im new with wordpress and the newspaper theme, so I dont know whether it is a wordpress problem or theme problem. But maybe you can help me anyway.
Im from Germany, so we have letters like ”Ä” or ”Ö” in the alphabet.
I just created my first blogpost with the title ”wie das gefühl nicht liebenswert zu sein entsteht”. but in the permalink it changed ”gefühl” to ”gefuehl”. But i need the version with ü in my permalink.
Do you know how I can fix it?

I believe that is how WordPress treats language specific characters

It sanitizes the URLs and removes specific characters and symbols. I could be mistake, you could search for more related topics online.
