I have edited the front Page but there is no option to include topics created in the bbpress forum. How can I do this? I want to create a widget that shows recent bbpress topics within the main front page widgets

Hello,
You can show different post types as well in our theme blocks. You will have to specify the post type in the blocks however. Please use this guide to properly set up your blocks:
