The WP editor isnt loading on the front page when use TD composer, all plugins disabled. server resouces are OK this is dedicated box and has plenty of power, this issue dfid not occur until upgrade to 8.7.2 from a earlier 8.7 or 8.6 version.
This happens when adding a block called “text with title”
The editor just spins and spins and never loads.
tested in FF, chrome, safari, Mac, and PC.
Went through and disabled plugins one by one, cleared all caches, restarted browsers, tried other machines. The WP editor never loads. Although it used to load in earlier versions because I have content in there that I need to edit.
Suggestions?
Hello,
This is a strange issue indeed. Can you please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can investigate this problem. Provide a link to your site and wp-admin so we can try to debug and see why this happens.
Thank you!
Did you find a fix for this?
I have the same problem after creating a new frontpage with Tagdiv Composer to replace old made with VC we’re unable to fix the last issue as the “WP Editor” that opens with the “Text with title” item just loads forever. I tried to update the composer from 2.0 to 2.1 ans I still have the same problem.
Please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation so we can identify you.
Thank you!
I can confirm we have also seen this exact issue on multiple sites using the Newspaper Theme.
Hi,
@kamoe Replies via email!
@superflymarketing Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and Cpanel/ftp access so we can take a look.
Thanks!
todays fix,
when adding html or content block and you cannot edit the text because the wp-editor just keeps spinning and not loading.
add your block as a column text, and give it a title in the title field, save, close, open from pages in the dashboard, then edit with TDVC. dont try to edit from the front page button, seems to work for us.
So the text elements are unusable if you try to edit the page from the front end, something must not be working properly. Maybe there are errors.
We could take a look and try to identify why this is happening. We will require admin access as well as cPanel if possible for testing. Send these to our email address, along with a link to this topic.

Hi,
Our investigation in this matter did not lead to identifying the problem. None of the users mentioning the problem in this topic have provided admin access so we can conduct further investigations.
If this is happening for you, please send us the details mentioned above by email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will check. Mention how we can recreate the issue exactly.
Thanks
Hi Simion, sent reply to Bogdan and he said my site was getting a “404 error on a tagdiv composer file.” I made sure all folder and file permissions were set okay per his recommendation. I also reached out to host, Godaddy, and they said there is no block or security block on any files on my site. So I currently sit without a solution.
