In the categories layout settings, there is an option to set a sidebar on it.
How can I also achieve this for the posts?
I mean, I need to have a sidebar in each existing post (more than 10.000).

It showed up somehow, but I still haven’t figured out how it chooses the sidebar to take the information from…

Hi,
That would be the primary category feature. When you set a sidebar for a category, all the posts that have that category as primary will inherit the sidebar.
If a primary category is not set by you manually for the post, the first category in alphabetical order will be chosen automatically

This is meant to allow control over multiple posts at once.
