How to add menu in a block?

Hi there,
I’m new here. How can i add menu in a block like this screenshot this image, where under LIFESTYLE NEWS, there are menu like All, Recipes, Travwl etc?
I’ve tried by set filter type as filter by category

Here is talking about Ajax Filter which can be added from Block Settings from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5jmAt5M75z Clear all of your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

but what if i want to exclude some category name from that portion?

If you want to exclude some categories from the block you should do it from the Block Settings -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4Uk0eNS3Kago
