I’m trying to change the colours of my menus in the header. The problem is that every time I change the colour, the menu disappears and the text “Click here – to select or create a menu” appears instead. Then I have to do the menu selection thing all over again. This is most frustrating. Why is this happening?
Also, I have disabled all the non-essential plugins, before you suggest that.

That’s what I’m saying. I keep doing that and pressing “save changes” but every time I make a change to the menu colour or a font in the theme panel, the changes go away and that “Click here – to select or create a menu” text appears on the menu instead.

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, remove all of the untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files. Notice that functionality comes from WordPress and not from our theme, sorry! Check the WordPress version to be updated and check the results.
