Hello,
I am trying since days to insert an HTML widget into the sidebar.
I have tried to use “Personalised Text” Widget.
I have also tried to put the HTML Widget in Ads and then to put the Ad Box in the Sidebar.
This is the code that I’m trying to use.
Can you please take a look if the code of this widget is OK?
<div id=”gyg-widget-5ad9b51ccfeec3.82048309″><span class=”gyg-static”>Proposé par GetYourGuide. Devenez partenaire.</span></div><script async defer src=”//widget.getyourguide.com/v2/core.js” onload=”GYG.Widget(document.getElementById(‘gyg-widget-5ad9b51ccfeec3.82048309’),{‘currency’:’EUR’,’localeCode’:’fr-FR’,’numberOfItems’:’3′,’partnerId’:’NFJUXUC’,’q’:’Sagrada’});”></script>
I am trying to put the widget on the following page: http://www.monbarcelone.com
On this website, I did exactly the same and it worked perfectly: http://www.hallo-barcelona.com
Can you please tell me how I can place this Widget into the General Sidebar?
I would be very glad if you could help me!
Thanks
Best
Marc
Hello Marc Kugge,
All the widgets can be managed from the section in Theme panel from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WKAxInSST Please provide more details if is not what you mean so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
thanks for your answer.
On the left side, you can “Available Widgets” but which one of them should I use to insert the HTML text that I mentioned above. I have tried several widgets Text / HTML but unfortunately, it doesn’t work.
I have 2 WordPress pages and it works on 1 page but not on the other one :(.
Is there maybe a reason why widgets / Pictures are not appearing on the sidebar?
The website in which I want to make it work is: http://www.monbarcelone.com
As you can see on the following website the widget is working: http://www.hallo-barcelona.com
I don’t understand why the website “Mon Barcelone” is blocking the widget from appearing correctly in the sidebar.
I’m trying to make this work since weeks so it would be really great if you could provide me with a solution.
Thanks
Best
Marc

Just to be sure here is again the HTML code:
<div id=”gyg-widget-5ad9b51ccfeec3.82048309″><span class=”gyg-static”>Proposé par GetYourGuide. Devenez partenaire.</span></div><script async defer src=”//widget.getyourguide.com/v2/core.js” onload=”GYG.Widget(document.getElementById(‘gyg-widget-5ad9b51ccfeec3.82048309’),{‘currency’:’EUR’,’localeCode’:’fr-FR’,’numberOfItems’:’3′,’partnerId’:’NFJUXUC’,’q’:’Sagrada’});”></script>
Hello Marc Kugge,
I have checked your both websites and I did not saw any problems with your sidebars. Everything seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lUTlhQaex Where is the problem? Please provide some useful screenshots with it.
Thanks for your understanding!
