I want to add a left hand sidebar, how would I do that?

Our theme allows the sidebar to be positioned either left or right but you cannot have both at the same time. Only on pages can you achieve this in the tagdiv composer. On posts and other templates besides pages, this cannot be accomplished.

Any reason this hasnt been implemented yet? It’s a pretty big deal and would probably keep me from using the newspaper theme in the future.

I believe it was a decision when the theme was created, a sidebar was considered enough for the post page for example. Maybe this will change in a future update, I cannot say for sure if there are any plans in this matter however. Sorry for the inconvenience.
