Sorry. This is maybe wordpess problem but if you know this solution please let me know.
Although pictures should be resized my current website doesn’t work.

It doesn’t work, sorry.
Other theme is OK but Newspaper 8.7.3 theme is not resized.

You use a single image element on that page. When adding the image to the page you have an option for the size of the image you prefer: https://www.screencast.com/t/8quVBQ4kR
This will not be done automatically.
