Hello whatawawu,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Check the system status memory to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!
I should be using the latest version of the Newsmag theme, because i bought and downloaded it late last month.
I was able to Edit with TD Composer until some days ago, but these days the TD Composer doesn’t respond to any action.
Below is the link to my Edit with TD Composer, the block settings doesn’t respond to any changes;
i’ve contacted my host support (Kinsta.com), below is what the support said;
Since our platform uses Nginx, there is no .htaccess file to edit.
Depending on the changes needed, we can add them here into the nginx config. If they are detailed, we would need nginx rules from the theme developers.
Let me see if there is a maxlinelength alternative for nginx. I’m not even sure what that is doing.
I don’t see an exact match for mod_substitute built into Nginx. Are you running into issues with the builder, or do they just suggest to add this no matter what?
The memory limit for WordPress is set to 256M in the php config file, so it should have all it needs. From what I am reading, that block just allocates 10M to divi.
If you’re not running into issues, it shouldn’t be needed.
Hi,
If you keep replying in your own topic it will only delay our answer unfortunately. The topics will be answered by oldest to newest.
Issues with the composer can be caused by many factors. The most common cause is simply insufficient resources. As you install more plugins the WP memory will be depleted and this will cause problems with the theme and plugins.
Please check the theme requirements guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
The theme has a system status panel you can check to see if everything is set properly. This would be the first step to try and fix the problem. If needed contact the hosting provider again and ask them to increase them according to the guide.
The next possible cause would be plugins. Deactivate them all except the theme plugins. Check if this has any effect. Also test on a new page.
If there is still a problem after doing this, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access, FTP and cPanel as well if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hello whatawawu,
Do you have installed the latest version of the theme via FTP way? Do you have the latest version of each required plugin? Do you have cleared all of your caches before checking the results?
If the problem is still there you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for the message!
The TD Composer button has come up again, but it’s not responding to changes e.g. i can’t change the header settings custom title.
This theme has really stressed me for weeks now, i wish i could change it.
Hi,
The problem should be from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JxwdTj44Cq I saw that you have only one website URL to HTTPS and the other one you have the only HTTP. Also, these settings do not appear on your backend page and therefore you should access your wp-config and define in that file with HTTPS for both, clear all the caches and check the results.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your credentials (wp-admin) and FTP access so we can take a closer look at your setup page.
Thanks.
