Great theme… was searching for a long time and knew this was the one for our site redesign.
Right now we are running Thesis 1.8.6 setup in a more or less traditional blog format. The home page lists the most recent 8 stories in the blog format, then include 3 rows of 2 story segments for 6 more older stories.
Eventually we will have a magazine format, but want to ease readership slowly into this.
1. Is there a way using PageBuilder rather than getting into the nasty editing of PHP to replicate the blog style with smaller excerpts at the bottom?
2. Is there a way to change the pagination? In Thesis it gives us “Previous Entries” and/or “Newer Entries” rather than a list of page numbers and total number of pages.

Found the answer in another post that this isn’t possible.
Would like to see the “Classic Blog” style become a block in an upcoming release. It is a good way to help transition an existing blog site over to the magazine style format.

Thanks for the suggestion and sorry for the inconvenience. I have added your request on our todo list but because we have over 160 feature requests we have to pick very carefully what we implement. If more people request this feature we will do it.
