In version 4.9.6 wordpress and updated the theme Version 8.7.5 – May 23, 2018

In WordPress 4.9.6 you CAN NOT write in visual mode only in html, I reiterate this step from the WordPress 4.9.6 update, to the WordPress version 4.9.5 by default it came in visual mode, in WordPress 4.9.6 it appears in html.

Test without plugins, deactivate them all except theme plugins (update the theme plugins). If you made code modifications to WordPress or the theme files, or use a child theme, remove /deactivate them temporarily. If there is still a problem we could take a look.
