Place button in header instead of Youtube Icon

Hi,

I would like to change the youtube icon at the top of the header to a subscribe button that looks something like this https://ih1.redbubble.net/image.271482322.5737/flat,800×800,070,f.u5.jpg

Surely if I add the header.php file to the child theme folder and make the edit there everything should be ok?

Can someone suggest what would be the best option here.

Hi,

You could edit the header template used, these are the files

Try inserting your button code there and see how it looks. You may need to create additional design for it, for positioning maybe.

Or maybe create a custom link in the top menu, with an icon

Or maybe use a multi-purpose header style which can display buttons, and add the icon with CSS
