4month ago bought Newspaper but I want to change the Domain

Hi guys 4 months ago I bought the Newspaper theme and install it in my domain
Now I want to change the domain.
Can I delete the theme from the exicting domain and install it to the new one?

Hello,

Yes, you can move a theme license to another domain. You can reset the theme activation in the system status section of the theme and then activate it on the new domain.

Hi Bogdan,

Similar, but not exactly the same problem. My staging site ran into some problems with updating the articles from the live site. Seeing as I haven’t customised the theme so much, I was thinking to remove the current staging and just start over. Would that affect the license? Do I need to do anything before creating the new staging site to make sure the theme will still work?

I just noticed that a further problem might be caused by me not being able to access the admin of the staging site any longer. If i delete the staging site, will that release my license?

Hi,

There will be no problem in this case, according to Envato license terms the theme can be installed on one single end product (website)
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
So removing it from one site and installing in elsewhere will not be a problem.
