Hello, I use for the category description the plugin “Rich Text Tags”, I do not want to spend the whole text but a read more tag insert, unfortunately that does not take the theme, rest Works without problems, you have any solution for it? Furthermore, I would like to see the text after the posts and not before that is somehow possible without much effort?
Hi,
Read more tags don’t work with the theme, either in posts or in other locations where available. There would be nothing to do in this matter unfortunately.
The category description will be displayed in the category header. With the new tagDiv Cloud library plugin and tagDiv composer, the category templates can be customized as you wish. So the category description can be dragged and moved easily

If you do not use the tagDiv composer, it could only be done through code modification.
Thanks
Hi, okay I tried it as soon as I want to install a template I get the error: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!See the screenshot:https://www.dropbox.com/s/3mmdf34rmmv3ggx/Screenshot%20%281%29.png?dl=0. Theme and plugins are up to date
Okay thank you, now it works. Now I have the problem, I have for my category: Category Template 2 installed. In the category global settings – TDB template – I put now the Category Template 2. Now I only see blank category page without posts, what am I doing wrong?
Hi,
So you imported the category template and applied it to a category
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fFhbC3cBe
And now the respective category page is empty, that is unusual. Try editing the category template and check if the intended content has been imported properly

Actually, I have the same problem.
Previously the category “Dacha” had another category template then other categories.
When I stated to use TBD templates and loaded Category Template 1 it shows that “Dacha” doesn’t have posts, but it is not true 🙂
Here is the details:

http://prntscr.com/jsk6dc
What is wrong from my side?
Also, please, advise how to change the text style (size, distance between rows) in the category text module – http://prntscr.com/jsk747
On the default it looks horrible 🙂
Hi,
@tzabula So by selecting one of the imported templates the category now is displayed as empty. Try setting one of the default templates again, see what happens.
Try to deactivate all your plugins as a quick test, test if the category page displays posts. Also clear the cache and also purge CDN files if used. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello again, I’ve tried everything you wrote Simon, it does not bring the category page is white with no posts, but if I take empty template and put together something, then everything works and everything is displayed. As soon as I import a submission template, it does not show anything. Do you have an idea why it is?
@Alex89 We could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Mention the steps you are taking and what it is happening. We will take a look.
For me, your recommendation works – http://prntscr.com/ju19gg
Now everything is fine.
Simion, hi!
Is there any possibility to change the style of category description text – http://prntscr.com/jue1kk
I’ve looked through Theme Fonts – http://prntscr.com/jue2xx – and found nothing connected with category description topic.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
The category description font properties can be styled in the composer, for the template you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CeIXjt6Tdg
In the theme panel there are no settings for them, their style is predefined.
I tried, but it doesn’t work. See screencast – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W-TKffreZC7EaJBWbTx0ZyD3Qdz_wHqZ/view
Currently (with lists and headings) it doesn’t make any paragraphs, simply omits:
http://prntscr.com/juwtrn
http://prntscr.com/juwuch
http://prntscr.com/juwuwe
I tested due to your advice – http://prntscr.com/jux0ie
The result is that without lists and headings it allows to change the font style, BUT:
the text becomes totally unstructured – even without paragraphs:
http://prntscr.com/juwyh3
http://prntscr.com/juwzqx
http://prntscr.com/jux055
How to cope with this problem? For good SEO I need paragraphs, H2 and lists in the category description.
It would be great if category description text looked like text in “Text with Title” block:
http://prntscr.com/juxahp
http://prntscr.com/juxbvl
Maybe there will be modifications to the category descriptions, as you know the Cloud library is in beta faze. I will add this on our list and it will be looked over.
There should be an update as soon as possible, containing some more fixes for this plugin. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Simion, hi!
I’ve installed the latest update from 27/06/2018 – http://prntscr.com/k0r67t
But … the problem with strange style of category description text is not fixed 🙁
http://prntscr.com/k0r7b6
http://prntscr.com/k0r7uh – it still doesn’t react on any style changes in category description form
Please, let me know when this bug is to be corrected. Many thanks in advance!
