Hi,
I have read on your forum that the newer version of Newspaper is in compliance with GDPR. I have the newer version installed, but I haven’t come across any cookie notification as of yet. Do you recommend to install a plugin for this purpose? And by the way, how it is in compliance with the GDPR, can we check that?

Hi,

There will be no notifications from the theme. You will have to analyze your website and see what data you are collecting. Use plugins for notifications messages or consents. There would be plenty to choose from and test.

The theme is GDPR compliant meaning it does not collect any data by itself. This is the case since WordPress 4.9.6 and theme version 8.7.5.
