I have a question about duplicate content, for categories. As you can check here, Google referenced my categories, but https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/category/?filter=X pages as well. It is duplicated content in my case.
Firstly, I disabled pull-down filter in theme panel… but now I would like to redirect those pages to http://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/category/ … but it seems impossible. Could you help ?
Other question, why when I try to access https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/?ldfhdsfhfsohi (a random chain), it does’nt display a 404 error ?

Hello Catalin. I cannot provide screenshots at this time. But, I’ll try to explain better. Let’s choose a category as an example : carnets-de-voyage, and its url : https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/carnets-de-voyage/
Because of different filters of the theme, it created url like this :
https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/carnets-de-voyage/?filter_by=popular
https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/carnets-de-voyage/?filter_by=popular7
https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/carnets-de-voyage/?filter_by=featured
And as you can see, all are identical (because I changed category pages), and referenced by google. How can I solve this ? I was thinking about a 301 redirection, but it does not work, I really don’t know why.

Where is the drop down filter button for your category filter? Did you have disabled it? Clear all the caches and check the results.

Yes, I’ve disabled it yesterday. Anyway, my category pages are overridden by homemade pages. But, obviously, url are still indexed by google… that’s why I’m looking for a solution to redirect all the previous url to https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/carnets-de-voyage/ but it seems to be impossible !

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean and what you want to achieve/redirect, sorry! Please check our demo here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-technology/tagdiv-gadgets/ and thee you will see the same functionality for Drop Down Category Filter. This is the default theme’s functionality.
If is not what you mean, please be more specific and provide some useful information regarding to your desired changes. You can provide some screenshots.

But the problem is I still can find in google this kind of URL :

It looks like a page created with the tagDiv composer, not a category page. So it seems you redirected the default category page to a page
– https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/category/vanuatu
What exactly do you want to do now? Google has a tool to remove URLs you could use that
– https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en
But why would you access the website like this
– https://www.larbreetlapirogue.fr/?ldfhdsfhfsohi
That would work for any URL, for example
– https://www.youtube.com/?ldfhdsfhfsohi=
Yes Simion, actually I overrided archive page (category) with a page created with td composer ! I did this for all my categories.
I did not know this google’s tools, thank you ! Actually, I just want that google stops its indexation for this kind of url. But it takes time, that why I wanted to redirect (301) :

You could try and control what Goggle is allowed or not with a robots file. Some guides here
