I want to add date for the pages(I am not finding any setting to add page publish date). After that, If I edit a page then it will automatically replace publish date to “Last Update” date.
Please give me a solution for this(I need code and I will edit my theme). I searched a few plugin but those are not fulfilling my requirements. I don’t want to show two different date(publish date and update date). I want publish date will be replaced by Last Modified date.

@Catalin I didn’t understand and didn’t find similarity of the solution. I want to show date for my PAGES(Not POSTS). So, I need to edit and add date functionality for the pages(page template). After that I can add/edit those code to show “modified date”. Isn’t or I am missing anything here?
So, without implementing publish page date code how can i add “last modified date” code?

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to display the data on your pages, sorry! You should do it yourself through the code or try finding such a plugin with this functionality and check the results.

Page date will work same way that a post date work. Isn’t? If so, Can you give me that code? I want to add date my pages.
