duplicated image

on my web site i find that the image upload file reach more than 6 Giga
when i check i find that this is many many size of each image

can any one help how to stop this

You can do a backup of your WordPress site first then install media cleaner plugin from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-cleaner/

You can also disable the thumbnail sizes you do not use from here https://www.screencast.com/t/Ihia4bRV. Then install the force regenerate thumbnail plugin to regenerate the theme’s thumbnails. Also, remember to reduce your image size with a plugin like wp smush.
