I use S2member and recently starting using your themes on three sites with three licenses. I just noticed that when members are loggen in, they are sent to the wp-admin. S2Member has a general options section and in that is Login Welcome Page. In there, one can select a page to send logged in users to or use a URL. However, regardless of what is selected, the user is always logged into the dashboard. IS there a modification that I can make to this theme that will allso S2Member to handle the login process? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I love this theme.

Sorry but unfortunately we will not be able to help with the S2Member plugin as it is not a tested and recommended plugin. Untested plugins implementation is not covered by the theme support.

Oh dear, I am about to implement a big S2member implementation on a site running Newspaper theme. I wish I had access to this forum before I purchased!!
Have you been able to find a workaround for this issue with S2? Have you run into other problems with conflicts between Newspaper and S2?
Sorry, but we are not currently looking to create implementation for the S2 Members plugin. It is not part of our implementation plans. If this is a must have for your project and you cannot use the theme without the plugin, you cna ask for a refund here: https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and we will provide it so you can choose another theme that is compatible with the plugin mentioned.

Is there any way for me to allow my developer to access this forum too? I want him to see this information and participate.
Also, is there any competitor to S2 that is approved for this theme? My goal is to have a subscription newspaper site, so I would like to use the theme called “Newspaper” and also use a plugin to control billing and restricted content.
Can Woocommerce work with this Newspaper theme?

A new member on the forum can only be registered based on an envato purchase code. You can share your account details with your developer if you want him to see the topics here. You cannot create a new account except if you own another theme license.
Woocommerce is among the tested and recommended plugin to use with our theme.
The only tested plugins are found in the theme panel under the theme plugins list:

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

This is good info and I appreciate it! We started 6 weeks ago a big S2 project and today we turned around and now working on Woocommerce. I like woocommerce in general much better because it appears to be potentially more extensible. And we can retain Newspaper theme 🙂
