Featured Image Alignment to Center

Hello,

I’m curious to learn more about why the featured images in posts viewed under categorizes or on the home page have the images displayed off center; they are pushed downwards of the picture frame;

Can that be fixed in the theme settings or is that how the theme is coded? Perhaps there is a Custom CSS fix to center the featured images to appears on desktop how they appear centered on mobile devices?

So if I want to change the thumbnail to a center-center one, can that only be attained thought the API?

Perhaps we can address it via CSS?
