Block showing each category with image thumbnail

Hi.

I want to set up a page with all my categories, using one of the theme blocks. The block have to show each category with a thumb and excerpt linking to a category page.

Anyone know how to do that?

Hello kanal1,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for Blocks. There you can display only the posts from the categories and not the category with a thumb and excerpt linking to a category page, sorry! You should make some changes through the code if you want to change this functionality but please notice that we cannot provide additional customizations, sorry! Usually, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com.

Hello,
I would like to know if it’s newspaper theme has something like a category’s block. Everything that i saw it’s related to post, block of post, modules, grids … but there are something similar for the categories, for instance, can I get a block with name and descriptions of specific categoires?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! You can try using such a plugin with this functionality and check the results.
