Hello,
I did try searching for this but couldn’t find an answer. Is there a way to hide a row/column if there is no content in the child block? For example, have a space at the top of the page for announcements, etc. above regular content that takes up no space until content with the selected category is present.
Thanks,
David
Hi,
There are options to hide rows, columns or particular elements, also per device (viewport). Check in the CSS tab of the respective element

The element will be hidden from view until manually made visible, it will not depend on changes to the content it displays. If empty it will display a notification.
There could be a solution however. For example if a block does not have any content due to selecting an empty category, it will show a no posts message

I could give you a code to remove that message
.tdb-no-posts {
display: none;
}
Then, once a pots is published in that category it will become visible. If that would be what you want, this may be a solution. The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom code in the CSS section.
Thanks
Great, thank you for the information, Simion! I’ll give this a try when I make the next change to the site design.
