I am still playing around with all the various settings and templates, but I finally found my happy medium. Using the recipes template. But now the reviewed articles no longer show the stars on the sidebar or any post lists. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I was trouble shooting and disabled the td-recipes class in the custom codes. That resolved all issues, but then did took away the formatting I was looking for on the recipes page.
It appears that the recipes custome template does not allow the review stars to show. It also messes with the side are module headlines.
That option was turned on, as it was the first setting I checked.
I will re-enable the td-recipes custom class so you can see my issue.

Each demo has a custom implementation for the theme elements. They are hjust hidden from view though so they can be enabled using this css code:
.td-recipes .td_module_wrap .td-module-meta-info{
display:block!important
}
Add the code in the theme panel under custom css.
