Hello,
I really like the Homepage Post block, but I’d also like it to stop changing the background of my site. I understand that it’s supposed to emphasize the importance of the article and the image, but it does not work well with all images.
I tried the Big Grid Full 1 block, as it is the only block that comes close to that of the Homepage Post one, but I find it too wide.

You cannot remove the background of the homepage post, Sorry.
You can select the wideness of the big grid full if you set it on a separate row. You can select the row size here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CkWLnUWu

Oh, I was not aware of the size option. Thank you very much, this fixed it for me! 🙂
