Authors not users

Hello,

I wanted to create authors who sign the posts but we did not want them to be wordpress users. I mean, a different entity for an author but without beeing wordpress user.
Is it possible?

Hello Javier García,

I guess that you are referring to the Rolles Capabilities for your website, right? So, if you want to create something like this, you should read here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities It’s just a WordPress functionality.

It is not our need, maybe I explain it not very well…
The matter is that we want to create authors without beeing wordpress users. For example, It is a web about quotes of people who is already dead, and we do not want the wordpress user who inserted the post appear at the author box, instead of the real author of the quote, could be Winston Churchill…
Is it possible?

Hello Javier García,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for this, sorry! Another alternative for you would be to create a fake author with the name you want to appears in front of your quotes.
