Scrolling text element for breaking news

Hi,

I have to add a section for breaking news with scrolling text. Breaking news content will not have any detailed matter in it. Meaning it does not require the post feature. Only single liners needs to be published in this section.
Can you please guide what element should I use to achieve this requirement?

Hi,

The theme has a post slider, also called a ticker
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/news-ticker/
It will display the post titles, nothing else. It has the same filtering as a block, also some other specific settings

Maybe this ticker could be what you wanted.

My client want the text in scrolling style. The current ticker element only flashes the text but my client wants scroll.
Please help how can we achieve this.

The functionality of the ticker is predefined, it cannot be changed. If you want something more like a continuous scrolling maybe, you could use a plugin

– https://www.frip.in/news-ticker-wordpress-plugin/

Try some free plugins, make tests with them, choose the none that looks/works as you want.

Hi,

these third party plugins don’t work right.
Would be grateful if you could help me with simple requirement.

Need a section with only scrolling text only for the purpose of breaking news. It will not have any detailed content in the form of post. Only single liners are required.

Hi,

Maybe one of those plugin will work, you could keep trying. Out ticker will only slide article titles, not text.

You could even try to create your own text slider with HTML and CSS, there are a lot of examples online. Like in this topic for example, I simply entered one of those ticker codes in a raw HTML element
