Facebook Social media counter does not work

Hello,

We used Newspaper to build a website. The template has been a little bit customized.
Now that we have launched it the social media counter does not work for Facebook. All the other social media are fine besides Facebook.

Everything was fine on the test server when we put the ID. As soon as we transfer the website to push it live the counter does not work anymore for Facebook. We already checked that the page ID was correct.

Use the Facebook debug tool to check your page where installed, as that will typically tell you if something is messed up. Might not help, but won’t hurt to check.

We had some issue with the Social Counter plugin in version 2.4
We have a fix for this and we will include the fixed version of the plugins within the next version theme’s files. If you need this fixed and don’t want to wait until the next update you can send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and specify in your message that you need the fixed version of the social counter plugin and we will send it to you, please also include a link to this topic in your email message.
