I want my site to be as snappy and responsive as possible. To that end, I would like to disable the “fade in” effect of featured images in blocks, etc. That gets annoying after a while.
How can I disable this feature?

Hi,
I believe you are referring to the lazy-load for the images. You can disable that in the theme panel if needed
